This Mod Collection 2025 SG™ Standard ‘61 has a Lavender Mist finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, gold hardware, gold Grover® locking tuners with pearloid buttons, a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, open-coil Custombucker pickups, a white pearloid truss rod cover, control cover, and pickguard, a white switch tip, gold Top Hat knobs with gold inserts, a black neck tenon cover, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors. It weighs 6.25 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories.
