This Mod Collection 2025 SG™ Standard ‘61 has a Coral Blaze finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom top finish, black plastics, nickel hardware, Voodoo Top Hat knobs, a zebra-coil Burstbucker™ 1 neck pickup and a T-Type humbucker™ in the bridge position, nickel Grover® “Milk Bottle” tuners, and no pickguard. It weighs 6.35 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories.
