This Mod Collection 2024 Les Paul™ Studio Session has a Magic Plum finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, chrome hardware including a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, Grover® tuners, and knurled Dome knobs, 490R neck and 498T bridge pickups with chrome covers, and push/pull coil splitting on the volume knobs. It weighs 8.6 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
