A Mod Collection 1956 Les Paul Standard Reissue in PBJ

This Mod Collection 2025 1956 Les Paul™ Standard Reissue has a PBJ finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish featuring a metallic Purple perimeter burst around a Copper metallic center on the top, a natural Brown back, and bursted highlight shading on the back, sides, and headstock, P-90 pickups with black covers, Kluson® Deluxe double-ring tuners, black plastics including the toggle switch tip, jack plate, and control covers, no pickguard or switch washer, black Witch Hat knobs, and hand-wired electronics with ceramic capacitors. It weighs 8.7 pounds and comes with a Gibson USA black hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
