Lzzy Hale has partnered with Epiphone to launch another dazzling signature model that sounds just as bodacious as it looks. Meet the Epiphone Lzzy Hale Explorer™ Custom, with a sparkling Black Diamond Holographic finish to boot. Created in close collaboration with the GRAMMY® Award-winning Halestorm frontwoman, rhythm guitarist, primary songwriter, and the first Gibson female Brand Ambassador, this model continues Lzzy’s celebrated run of Epiphone signature guitars, a series which has produced sold-out and highly collectible instruments.
The Epiphone Lzzy Hale Explorer Custom has been purpose-built for heavy music, featuring premium appointments and a high-output voice made for chunky riffs, crisp leads, and arena-sized presence. Built around a classic mahogany Explorer body, it hosts seven-ply top binding and a single-ply mirror pickguard that gleams under stage lighting. In 2023, Lzzy also teamed up with Kramer on an ultra-sharp Voyager model with the same sparkling finish as this new Epiphone guitar.
The Epiphone Lzzy Hale Explorer Custom is guaranteed to turn heads
The mahogany neck is shaped to Epiphone’s comfortable and fast SlimTaper™ 60s C profile, paired with an ebony fretboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and pearloid block inlays. The signature Explorer “hockey stick” headstock features a raised Epiphone 3D nickel logo, a Graph Tech® nut, and Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners. Custom artist details include a black two-ply truss rod cover engraved with Lzzy’s signature and a sleek black stinger on the rear of the headstock.
Tone on this model is powered by a matched set of Epiphone ProBucker™ Ignite pickups, engineered for power and clarity. Each pickup is wired to its own volume control, with a shared master tone control topped by a silver Speed knob. A three-way pickup selector provides easy access to either pickup or both together for versatile tonal options. Players will also find a LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece, delivering accurate intonation, long-lasting sustain, and road-ready reliability. The guitar comes in a hardshell case.
