In celebration of the 45th anniversaries of her albums Bad Reputation and I Love Rock ’N Roll, this updated version of the Epiphone Joan Jett Olympic Special welcomes enhanced feature tweaks, including a different humbucking pickup type and a new tonewood combination.
Inspired by Joan’s original Epiphone Olympic Special, this 2026 version delivers the core elements you need in a rock-ready model without distractions. It features a lightweight, asymmetrical double cutaway mahogany body designed for comfort and freedom of movement, paired with a glued-in mahogany neck shaped to the Olympic Special profile. Its rosewood fretboard has a 12-inch radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets, and pearloid dot inlays.

Up top, the headstock carries the classic Olympic Special silhouette and is fitted with die-cast tuners and a Graph Tech® nut for dependable tuning stability. A gold reproduction of Joan’s signature appears on the back of the headstock for an added personal touch.
Keeping the focus on simplicity and attitude, controls are intentionally simple: at its core is a single PowerHammer ProBucker™ pickup, accompanied by a single CTS® volume potentiometer topped with a black Speed knob with a rubber grip, and an on/off toggle switch that adds kill-switch capability.
