A Mod Collection 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Soft Silica Sands

Gibson Mod™ Collection - Break the mold with our one-of-a-kind, customized guitars.

This Mod Collection 2026 1959 Les Paul™ Standard Reissue has a Soft Silica Sands finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, distressed nickel hardware including Grover® tuners, a single “gold tooth” pole piece on the neck pickup, no pickguard, and gold Top Hat knobs. It weighs 8.9 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.

All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
