This Mod™ Collection 2025 Gibson Custom 1959 ES-355 Reissue has a Mermaid’s Tail finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive, color-shifting custom finish that moves between a greenish and a purple hue, with a satin finish on the neck and headstock, gold hardware, MHS 2 neck and MHS bridge pickups with gold covers, a gold ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge with nylon saddles, a gold Bigsby® vibrato with gold Vibramate® spoiler, gold Kluson® tuners with double-banded Keystone buttons, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors. It weighs 8.85 pounds and comes with a Gibson USA hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
