The new HiFi DNA pickup system is available only on Gibson acoustic guitars, beginning with a broad range of instruments in the Original and Modern Collections. In addition, the system will be available as a standalone product, with easy peel-and-stick installation requiring no modifications to the guitar’s bridge or saddle.

How does HiFi DNA work its magic?
The system offers greater sensitivity to the movement of the guitar’s soundboard, delivering more realism, warmth, nuance, and tactile immediacy as a result. HiFi DNA sensors are lighter, larger, more flexible, and omnidirectional. This enables them to capture more of the natural voice and dynamic range of your Gibson guitar.
Each HiFi DNA sensor employs its own dedicated, custom-voiced, Class A studio-quality preamp, maintaining purity and articulation before blending into a perfectly optimized output.
