Accept no imitations: The MESA/Boogie 90s Triple Rectifier Standard is back

MESA/Boogie 90s Triple Rectifier Standard

The amp that has been dominating and reinventing the sound of modern heavy music for more than three decades

Few amplifiers in history have left a Sasquatch-sized footprint in music like the MESA/Boogie® Rectifier® Series. Since their release in 1992, the Dual and Triple Rectifier have dominated the airwaves and shaped genres, becoming the soundtrack for several generations along the way. Now, the beast is back.

The 90s Triple Rectifier Standard Head brings the more affordable standard dress configuration back to the catalog, with a black chassis, chrome Speed knobs, and aluminum-look Diamond Plate. This is the package that reframed perspectives on the part gear could play when it came to visuals on stage and in video, and cast the Rectifier as iconic, and as menacing-looking as it was sounding.

Around the back, the additional Rectifier and power tubes create a wall of glowing glass that forewarns of the sonic impact about to be unleashed with a flick of the Standby switch. This Triple’s layered harmonics, tight low end, and percussive mid hit are delivered with all the authority and impact of the original 90s build, and it serves up this huge, high-gain wall of tone like no other amplifier before or since.
