This Mod Collection 2026 SG™ Standard ‘61 has an All-American Amber Ale finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, nickel hardware and tuners, black plastics, black Speed knobs, and Burstbucker™ ’61 Double Classic White pickups. It weighs 5.9 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.

All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories.
