A Mod Collection 1954 Les Paul Custom Reissue in Dog of the Dark

Gibson Mod™ Collection - Break the mold with our one-of-a-kind, customized guitars.

This Mod Collection 2026 1954 Les Paul™ Custom Reissue has a Dog of the Dark finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, Gotoh® tuners, gold Speed knobs, no pickguard, and ceramic capacitors. It weighs 8.35 pounds and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.

All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
