This Gibson Custom Select 1942 Banner J-45™ Reissue features a custom-finished Ebony top with Murphy Lab Light Aging and a custom white teardrop pickguard. Gibson Custom Select offers instruments with distinct specifications that are handpicked by Gibson’s experts using the same method as creating a Made to Measure guitar. These instruments offer a unique take on existing models with custom finishes, unique electronics, exotic tonewoods, distinct inlays, and more. The Gibson J-45 first appeared in Gibson’s lineup in 1942, which featured the banner logo until the end of 1945.
