Artist Biography
Paula Pera y El Fin de los Tiempos is the musical project of Colombian singer-songwriter Paula Pedraza, who fuses indie rock, retro pop, and Latin American “música de plancha” (a genre often associated with 1970s-1990s dramatic ballads) into a melancholic yet powerful sound. With influences ranging from Anglo indie to Jeanette, Yuri, and 1990s Shakira, her music stands out for its honest lyrics, emotional sensibility, and a voice that combines fragility and strength.
Since 2021, Paula has consolidated her position as one of the most authentic voices in Colombian indie music. She has performed on stages such as Teatro Libre de Chapinero, Festival Cordillera 2026, BIME Live 2026, Festival Estéreo Picnic (2022 and 2024), Movistar Arena, Teatro Colón, Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo, and Teatro Pablo Tobón Uribe. In 2023, she won Rompe Colombia from Amazon Music, which fueled a tour through Mexico, strengthening her presence in the Latin American scene.
Her debut album, Fin de los Tiempos (2024), was nominated at the Premios Nuestra Tierra. Her second album, noquieroquemequieras, was released in 2026 and displays an artistic vision that is increasingly intimate, honest, and expansive.
