KRK has refreshed its world-renowned Kreate Series Studio Monitors with a modern Latte finish for the Kreate 5, offering a sleek and stylish alternative to the classic black housing and yellow cones that are synonymous with the KRK name. With no compromise on sound, these newly refreshed monitors are suitable for both casual playback and professional music and content production. The series is available now globally through select dealers and online at KRKmusic.com.
There are three sizes available—Kreate 3, 5, and 8 inch—with the Kreate 3 models sold as a pair, while the Kreate 5 and Kreate 8 options are priced individually. The new Latte colorway is available exclusively on the Kreate 5. The KRK Kreate Series offers entry-level, active two-way studio reference monitors with wide bandwidth, boundary and tuning EQs, new transducer designs, and Class D amplification.
As the brand’s newest studio monitor line, the Kreate Series represents its continued commitment to innovation and accessibility. Key features include wireless audio streaming capabilities via pairable Bluetooth® input, as well as balanced and unbalanced analog inputs for flexible connectivity. The monitors are also equipped with universal voltage and a switch-mode power supply for reliable performance across international power standards.
Acoustic boundary correction and tuning EQ combinations help minimize and resolve environmental challenges, while composite woven glass fiber cone woofers deliver impressive dynamics, effective damping, and deeper modal control. The monitors also have a heat-resistant glass fiber structure featuring a high strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring sonic accuracy and adaptability. High-frequency reproduction is handled by a carefully engineered woven-textile dome tweeter with a neodymium motor, extending the frequency range up to 40 kHz in the KRK Kreate 8 and 5 models, and up to 33 kHz in the Kreate 3.
System-tuning level control, along with low and high-frequency shelving filters, allows for easy adjustment in various acoustic conditions, while hybrid Class D and Class AB amplification delivers power and headroom. Their high-performance transducers are optimized for improved accuracy, and the amplifiers drive them efficiently at reduced operating temperatures to ensure audio integrity during extended sessions.
