Gibson Made to Measure

The artisans of the Gibson Custom Shop, handcraft the world’s most desirable electric and acoustic guitars, but we also understand that no matter how great an off-the-peg designer suit might look and feel, the most discerning customers appreciate the sharper fit and personalised comfort of something that has been tailored to their specific needs and preferences. Perhaps you’ve always loved the idea of a weight-relieved ’57 Gold Top with a SlimTaper neck profile, or maybe you want to us to colour-match the metallic blue paint job from your first car. Whatever you dream up, using one of our iconic Gibson models as a starting point, this is where the Gibson Custom Made to Measure program comes in.

At the Gibson Garage London, you can make an appointment to talk to one of our Pros about your dream guitar, simply get in touch below to book your slot, or request a call back to discuss.

The next instalment at The Gibson Garage London will present the work of renowned photographer Dick Polak (1940-2025).

This exclusive exhibition, curated by RedHouse Gallery, features original vintage prints and unique artist proofs from the photographer’s archive.

Polak’s images provide an intimate glimpse into the vibrant lives of some of the most iconic performers from the 1960s and 70s. The collection includes candid portraits of The Rolling Stones, John Lennon, Faces, The Who and T-Rex amongst others.

Highlights include documentary photography from the the 1968 filming ofThe Rolling Stones Rock ‘N’ Roll Circus, in which Polak was personally invited to shoot by Mick Jagger. The concert film included a one-off performance by legendary supergroup Dirty Mac – featuring John Lennon and Yoko Ono on vocals, Eric Clapton on guitar, Keith Richards on bass and Mitch Mitchell (The Jimi Hendrix Experience) on drums.

The exhibition is complimented by new prints from the
