The neck has a comfortable Round profile and features a bound rosewood fretboard that is equipped with 20 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays—one of the visual hallmarks of this iconic acoustic guitar.

The bound headstock is ornamented with the Gibson logo and crown, both inlaid in mother of pearl. High-quality gold Grover® Rotomatic tuners work in harmony with a TUSQ® nut to ensure smooth, solid tuning. The body features the iconic SJ-200 pickguard and a two-bar Moustache™ bridge, another readily identifiable feature that distinguishes the SJ-200, made of rosewood. It is equipped with a TUSQ saddle and bridge pins.
