This Mod Collection 2024 Firebird™ Platypus has a Tangerine Scream finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive, full-body custom finish featuring a Metallic Orange throughout the top, back, sides, and neck and a gloss black headstock face, a complementary custom-painted Firebird™ pickguard with a bursted area around the Firebird logo, bursted waist areas in the complementary darker orange color, and a bursted headstock back going down the neck to about the 3rd-fret area, color-matching knobs, mixed hardware, black plastics, nickel pickup covers, a chrome bridge, chrome Grover® tuners, an aluminum Bigsby® B7 vibrato with Vibramate™ spoiler, deluxe Mini Humbucker™ pickups, and a “Custom Made” badge on the top. It weighs 8.35 pounds and comes with a Gibson USA brown hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
