The Ultimate Gibson Hummingbird
Our "Ultima" model designation calls to mind some of the most ornate and desirable Gibson Custom electric guitar models ever made. The Hummingbird™ Ultima builds on the success of that range and brings it to the Gibson acoustic guitar lineup. The Hummingbird Ultima features a quilt maple back and sides paired with a select flame maple top. The mahogany neck has a bound ebony fretboard, and the headstock is also bound. The multi-ply body binding features abalone, as does the beautiful and intricate vine inlay on the fretboard and headstock. Other premium features include gold Waverly tuners, a mother-of-pearl truss rod cover, and an engraved Hummingbird pickguard with graphics that are color-coordinated to the guitar's finish. A hardshell case is included.
