A split diamond headstock inlay, multi-ply binding, and gold hardware further reinforce the fact that the ES-355 is the top of the line ES™ model. This expertly crafted Custom Shop rendition's attention to detail makes it an outstanding recreation of the legendary and highly-prized 1959 ES-355. A five latch Lifton™ case is also included.

    "If your'e thinking of purchasing a Reissue, be aware of what VOS stands for. According to Customer Help, VOS is Vintage Original Sheen. This means the body and headstock are not a polished gloss finish, but buffed to create fine scratches all over. The binding is yellow, not white like the pick guard and truss rod cover edges. I'm assuming this is supposed to look like a yellowed lacquer finish. VOS should be explained in the product description. That being said, I love this guitar, and I love Gibson !"
