This Mod Collection 2025 SG™ Standard has a Shining Sun Sparkle finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, nickel hardware including an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Kluson® Deluxe tuners with black keys, ’59 Tribute neck and T-Type bridge pickups with nickel covers, black Witch Hat knobs, a black toggle switch tip, no switch washer, and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop® capacitors. It weighs 7.15 pounds and comes with a Gibson USA brown hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.
All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
