Gibson Brands is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to manage the financial consolidations and financial reporting aspects of its Corporate Performance Management (CPM) system, OneStream XF (OneStream). This position reports to the Corporate Controller and will work cross-functionally to support administration of Gibson’s global OneStream application including metadata management and development and implementation of future enhancements.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • Design, maintain, and generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements packages (balance sheets, statements of operations and comprehensive income, statements of cash flows, and statements of changes in stockholders’ equity) for internal and external users including shareholders, lenders, Board of Directors, and Company management.
  • Design reporting to support calculation of Gibson’s borrowing base and covenants.
  • Maintain FX rate loads and ensure proper functioning of currency translation and reporting.
  • Maintain the OneStream application and deployed cubes across all active environments (Production, Test, and Development).
  • Manage consolidations, integrations, and perform validations from source systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to ensure source data flows to OneStream cubes.
  • Troubleshoot data related issues including: import, validation and load.
  • Manage users and security profiles
  • Work closely with IT to develop proper data connections and cycles.
  • Subject matter expert for OneStream Reporting and Consolidation including training users and primary support role for all Gibson entities globally
  • Perform data reconciliation and maintain data integrity of OneStream application and downstream cubes and Power BI data warehouse
  • Participate in month end close activities and prepare reconciliations and audit support with a focus on intercompany and currency valuation processes within OneStream.
  • Assist with management of credit agreement compliance and providing related reporting.

 

Required Skills / Abilities

 

  • Develop ad hoc reports (OneStream Cube Views and Excel Add-in) as needed 
  • Perform monthly and daily maintenance of OneStream including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes
  • Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and Financial Cube Views with OneStream and associated cubes
  • Manage the metadata intake, processing and approval process, as well as deployment into OneStream cubes
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues
  • Evaluate and recommend new approaches and procedures that result in process improvements and efficiencies
  • Evaluate and maintain effective internal controls over the financial reporting process
  • Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
  • Support continuous improvement activities utilizing OneStream App solutions such as Month End Close, Account Reconciliation, Tax Provision, etc.


Education and Experience

 

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA highly preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in the accounting/finance field; Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience with CPA/Masters degree.
  • Consolidation system skills (Hyperion, SAP consolidation, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick learner who can work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 familiarity a plus
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to identify and resolve problems both independently and as part of a team
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
