Reintroducing the Tobias Growler IV. Well-known for their articulate, punchy midrange, present yet smooth high-frequency response, and well-defined low end, Tobias basses set the high-performance standard for modern bassists. Built using high-quality tonewoods, the Growler IV features a 34" scale, 3-piece bolt-on neck made from hard maple and purpleheart. It has a 24-fret wenge fretboard and features the comfortable Tobias Asym™ neck profile for exceptional playability. The well-balanced and ergonomically contoured body is made from paulownia, a highly musical and lightweight tonewood. Tobias basses are equipped with high-end hardware, including a Babicz® bridge and Gotoh® tuners. The electronics are equally advanced, with a Bartolini® active humbucking pickup and an expansive collection of tone-shaping controls that allow you to quickly dial in your ideal sound.
