Internship - Product Development

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our organization and participate in our Summer 2024 internship program. This role will report to the VP of Product at our Headquarters location. During this course of this program, the Product Development intern will assist the product development process by supporting key Product Development leaders in task management, timeline coordination and organization. Learning, participating-in and improving an active product development process which includes a range of musical instrument product categories. You will be a shared resource to Product Development leaders with whom you will raise the level of sophistication of task management, timeline coordination and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:  Using Microsoft Teams and Office software as well as task management tools to assist project management, participating in meetings and taking notes, creating meetings and managing schedules, and helping wherever needed within Product Development and cross-functionally with other teams.

Qualifications:

• Must be working towards Bachelors Degree
• Familiarity with guitars required
• Deep understanding of Gibson product portfolio a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Comfortable navigating corporate structure and organization
• Organization and planning capabilities with ability to multitask and work on different projects
• Works well to meet strict deadlines

Experience:

• While prior internship experience is a plus, it is not required
• Project management and/or Engineering background is a plus
