The Les Paul Studio has been reimagined to be more versatile and better than ever. The Les Paul Studio Figured Top features an Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable for long playing sessions. Its carved AA figured maple top adds a stunning visual element and contributes to a brighter, more defined tone. This is complemented by the warmth and midrange punch of the mahogany body, delivering the iconic Les Paul sound that’s been a staple on stages and hit recordings around the world for decades. The set mahogany neck is securely glued in, ensuring strong resonance and sustain, while the SlimTaper™ neck profile makes it easy to play. The neck also features a traditional heel and is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard, complete with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets. The 12” fretboard radius makes playing chords and lead lines easier, allowing smooth string bending without worrying about notes fretting out. Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons enhance the guitar’s classic aesthetic. Along with the fully adjustable aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, lightweight aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Graph Tech® nut, these components ensure exceptional tuning stability.
The Les Paul Studio Figured Top’s versatile electronics offer a wide range of tonal options. It comes equipped with two Burstbucker™ Pro pickups that are wired to a three-way selector switch that allows you to use each pickup individually or together. Each pickup has its own volume control, with a push/pull switch for coil tapping that provides two distinct sounds per pickup. Each pickup also has a dedicated tone control for even more tonal versatility. The wide range of tonal options, combined with outstanding sustain, resonance, and smooth playability, makes the Les Paul Studio Figured Top an excellent choice for any musical situation, from home practicing to recording to jam sessions and live performances. "I have never owned a Gibson and have been reluctant to purchase one. I own serveal high-end guitars and was looking for a spoiled "player" guitar. I piece this studio model after trying one out at my local Guitar Center. All I have to say is the quality is very good. Fit and finish solid. Playability is what makes this guitar really shine! Very easy and comfortable to play. The pickups are solid and very versatile. I am really enjoying playing this guitar and would recommend to try one out if you haven't already."
