GIBSON LES PAUL
The world’s most desirable electric guitar, shaping sound for generations
When you find the one, you know it
The Gibson Les Paul™ arrived in 1952 at the dawn of rock ’n’ roll. Over the decades, it has found its way into the hands of rock and blues legends, punk pioneers, indie heroes, and the biggest names in virtually every music genre. From the raw, stripped-down appeal of the Les Paul Junior and Special to the iconic Les Paul Standard and Custom, if you are looking for classic Les Paul tone and feel, we’ve got you covered. And for players who crave the Les Paul aesthetic but need a lighter weight instrument with modern ergonomic benefits and ultimate versatility, look no further than the Les Paul Studio, Studio Session, and Supreme.

Handcrafted in Nashville
Today’s Gibson Les Paul models are handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee, and combine cutting edge technology with time-honored processes, honoring a legacy of more than 130 years of American instrument manufacture. Explore our Les Paul collections to find variations for all budgets and tastes, a rainbow of nitrocellulose lacquer finishes in traditional and modern colors, and premium hard cases and gig bags for peace of mind en route to your next rehearsal, recording session, or live performance.

The Gibson difference.

Time-honored methods
At every price point, we use nitrocellulose lacquer finishes on Gibson electric guitars that look beautiful, age gracefully, and allow our instruments to feel acoustically resonant, dynamic, and alive. Arcane processes such as the scraping of excess finish from fingerboard binding with a razor are labor-intensive and time-consuming, but we believe that the extra effort pays dividends.

Tone for days and nights
All Gibson pickups are built in-house in the USA by our talented Gibson Pickup Shop team. Whether you are looking for a Les Paul Standard equipped with vintage-style humbuckers™ for expressive blues solos or a Les Paul Special with P-90s for raunchy powerchords, we’ve got you covered. From the Junior to the Supreme, the Gibson Les Paul Collection has your back for every rehearsal, recording, practice session, and performance.

Building for generations
The earliest Gibson Les Pauls from back in the 1950s are still being used to make music today and are highly prized on the vintage market. When you find the right guitar, it will be a companion for life that accompanies you on every step of your musical journey. When you find “the one,” you know it—it’s the guitar that wears the battle scars of late-night practice sessions, garage rehearsals, and bar gigs. It’s the one that’ll never let you down. Browse our Gibson Les Paul Collection and find “the one” today.
