The Internal HR Recruiter role is responsible for overseeing the full recruitment cycle within the organization including attracting, evaluating, processing, all within a financial compensation parameter. This includes sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for various positions, as well as fostering a positive candidate experience. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and compensation packages, developing recruitment strategies, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of HR best practices.
Essential Functions
- Recruitment Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Analyze and optimize recruitment processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Source candidates through various channels, including internal databases (ADP), job boards, recruiting websites and social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the specific role and the organization.
- Ensure a diverse candidate pool in alignment within company objectives.
- Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, including interview techniques and candidate assessment.
- Candidate Experience Management:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
- Manage candidate relationships and build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization, completing necessary paperwork when required
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records with an applicant tracking system.
- Generate and analyze recruitment reports to track metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance the recruitment process.

Required Skills/Abilities
- HR Background: A strong foundation in human resources practices and principles adhering to applicable laws
- Communication Skills: Effective communication interacting with potential candidates specifically with strong listening skills to gather information and have objective assessments/evaluation of competencies
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with all levels of the organization
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess candidates’ skills and qualifications effectively
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage the recruiting process with attention to detail and timeliness of actions
- Accountability Skills: Effective follow through of all recruiting activities within various stages
Knowledge
- Understanding of the talent acquisition process
- Knowledge of relevant laws regarding recruiting, interviewing and hiring
- Ability to manage internal and external communications
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and resources
- Use/knowledge of ADP Workforce Now ATS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Project software (Monday.com) experience a plus
Education and Experience
- Certified Staffing Professional (CSP), preferred & SHRM Certified a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruiting role, preferably within internal HR department or agency
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources
