Return to Career Listings // Internship - Production QA EngineeringWe are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our organization and participate in our Summer 2024 internship program. The Quality Engineering Intern supports the daily operations of the corporate quality department. The Quality Engineering Intern will provide technical support to the corporate quality team, helping to improve the quality of products and processes. The intern will collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues, and will analyze and report on quality systems and processes. This role will report to the Director of Quality, but will also support to Quality Assurance and Engineering teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned project activity with regular structured report-out presentations.
- Support corporate quality personnel
- Collaborate with craftory quality functions, such as manufacturing and customer quality, to ensure that quality issues are identified and resolved.
- Work with cross functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Gibson suppliers.
- Assist in completing First Article Inspection processes.
- Compile and analyze data to identifies trends in order to facilitate improvement actions
Qualifications:
- Candidate currently enrolled in an Engineering Program, ME preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, MiniTab preferred
- Navigating corporate structure and organization.
- Organization and planning capabilities with ability to multitask and work on different projects.
- Works well to meet strict deadlines.

Experience
