OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of a Scuff Sander is to remove any imperfections in the surface of the base coat of lacquer. This will result in a smooth and consistent finish on the guitar.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities will include:
- Learn and execute standard operating procedures
- Use an orbital sander without burning through the lacquer
- Able to use 400 grit sandpaper by hand
- 95% pass rate based on production requirements
- Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.)
- Maintains product flow at appropriate rate
- Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)

Required Experience and Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of model types and color schemes
- Develop a strong understanding of the models
- Strong attention to detail.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision
