Kirk Hammett, the legendary lead guitarist of Metallica, collaborated with the luthiers at Gibson Custom to create the Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett Raven, a distinctive addition to the renowned Gibson Custom acoustic guitar lineup. The Kirk Hammett Raven is the custom-designed antithesis to the legendary Gibson Hummingbird™. Like the Hummingbird, it features a square-shoulder body, with mahogany back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top that is reinforced with traditional scalloped Advanced X-bracing, offering the classic acoustic guitar tonal recipe that has delighted players and fans for decades. The mahogany neck features a Round profile and is topped with a bound ebony fretboard, equipped with 20 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl star inlays. The fretboard also features a 16” radius, making it easier to play fast and fluid solos. The headstock is outfitted with Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, and the bridge pins, compensated saddle, and nut are all TUSQ®, ensuring smooth and stable tuning. The Gibson logo and a distinctive raven skull inlay are also displayed on the headstock, each inlaid in mother-of-pearl. This limited edition guitar also reflects Gibson’s famous wildlife-themed models with its custom-made, highly ornate raven-themed double pickguards and raven-inspired tailpiece accent.

Baggs VTC electronics, it features volume and tone controls discreetly mounted in the sound hole, allowing for fast and easy access while playing yet remaining nearly invisible to the audience.
