Artist Biography

ASAKA is the lead vocalist and guitarist of TRiDENT, the next generation of the hottest millennial Japanese girl rock band, formed in May of 2020. Their first music video, “Continue,” received over one million views in just three months, despite them being an independent band. Currently it has over five million views. They have more than 140,000 YouTube subscribers and their music videos have been viewed more than 14 million times in total. They have performed at various leading festivals, including Merry Rock Parade, Coming Kobe, and A.V.E.S.T project. ASAKA has worked with Gibson Japan on numerous collaborations to date, including the specially formed girl-band, REPLAYS.
