Gibson USA/Electric Division is accepting applications for Quality Control Inspector.
We are seeking career-oriented individuals who desire to become a part of a world-class Manufacturing team; these are full-time positions in an aggressive, fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc. for conformance to company standards.
Performs receiving inspection to ensure dimensional accuracy, hardness, color match, and electrical characteristics.
Creates work instruction documents, quality alerts, and performs internal audits.
Works under general supervision, reporting to a manager or other head of department.
Checks randomly selected samples to verify accuracy of equipment or process.
Reports conditions requiring immediate repair.
Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.
Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections.
Uses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.
May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.
May obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory analysis and determines measures to be taken to remedy deviations from standards.
Previous quality control experience.
Basic computer skills including MS Word/Excel
Experience creating documents with embedded photos/graphics.
Ability to use traditional inspection & test equipment (e.g. calipers, multimeters, etc.).
Physical requirements include the ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Candidates must be able to pass drug screen as well as meet background requirements.
