Gibson has expanded its Victory lineup with the new Victory Floyd Rose, adding a Floyd Rose® locking vibrato system to this popular model in response to player demand. Proudly handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee, it comes in three gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes that highlight its figured maple top: Iguana Burst, Deep Ocean Burst, and Translucent Ebony Burst.
The Victory Floyd Rose lands just as Gibson has kicked off its “Handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee” campaign, celebrating the craftsmanship and innovation that drives Gibson and Gibson Custom. The model follows on from the successful relaunch of the Victory series in 2024, which brought the original guitar design that captured the imaginations of players in the 1980s into the modern age, complete with feature upgrades but retaining its distinctive original character.
Further advancing the design to meet the desires of today’s Victory fans, the addition of a Floyd Rose vibrato delivers enhanced control, stability, and performance for high-energy players.

The model features a mahogany double-cutaway body paired with an AA figured maple top, and a 25.5-inch scale mahogany neck carved to a SlimTaper™ profile that can handle drop tunings with ease. Here, the guitar hosts an ebony fretboard with a compound radius and 24 medium jumbo frets, with simple acrylic dot inlays that complete its streamlined look.
A six-on-a-side Explorer™-style headstock fitted with Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners and a Floyd Rose locking nut ensures reliable tuning stability, and chrome-plated hardware, including the output jack plate, complements the guitar’s modern aesthetic. It also has a black five-ply pickguard, black switch tip, and black Top Hat knobs, reinforcing a shred-focused visual identity.
As for electronics, the guitar comes fitted with two uncovered 80s Tribute humbucker™ pickups with zebra bobbins, wired to push/pull master volume and tone controls for coil splitting and selectable inner/outer coil options when split.
