A Mod Collection Flying V 70s in COW!

Gibson Mod™ Collection - Break the mold with our one-of-a-kind, customized guitars.

This Mod Collection 2024 Flying V™ 70s has a COW! finish. The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, gold hardware including a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, open-coil MHS 1 neck and MHS2 bridge pickups with cream mounting rings, a cream truss rod cover, black Speed knobs, a white pickguard, and Grover® locking tuners with pearloid buttons. It weighs 2.8 kg and comes with a hardshell case and two-year playability warranty.

All Gibson guitars go through rigorous QC, but every once in a while, a guitar with outstanding playability and tone doesn’t quite meet the strict cosmetic standards at our craftories. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, these instruments are sent to the Mod Collection team to use as a blank canvas—and let their imaginations run riot.
