The new Les Paul™ Custom Modern Figured from Epiphone sets a new standard for performance and innovation. The latest version of this Inspired by Gibson model from the Modern Collection builds on the foundation of the Les Paul Custom and adds new features that make it more comfortable to play and better than ever.
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Modern Figured features a mahogany body with Ultra Modern weight relief for a lighter, more ergonomic feel. The body has a maple cap with an AAAA flame maple veneer that adds a bit of extra attack and brightness to the rich midrange of the mahogany and gives it an eye-catching appearance. The mahogany neck features a fast-playing 60s SlimTaper™ C profile. It attaches to the body via a Modern Contoured Heel, providing the player with unfettered access to the entire length of the bound ebony fretboard. The fretboard has a 10”-14” compound radius for exceptional comfort, whether you’re playing chords or leads with lots of string bends, and is equipped with 22 extra durable medium jumbo stainless steel frets. The fret ends are hemispherical, further improving playing comfort, and the fretboard is dressed up with Custom pearloid block inlays.
The bound 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock is equipped with locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with tulip buttons and a Graph Tech® nut for solid tuning stability, and features the Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond inlaid in mother-of-pearl. Nickel-plated LockTone™ hardware, including a Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, anchors the strings at the other ends and delivers full adjustability for action and intonation. Posi-Lok™ strap buttons keep your strap securely attached without requiring any additional hardware.
The Les Paul Custom Modern Figured features a pair of Epiphone T-Type PRO™ humbuckers™ with nickel covers, each with individual volume and tone controls. For added tonal versatility, the volume controls feature push/pull potentiometers for coil splitting, and one of the tone controls has a push/pull switch for phase switching when both pickups are used together. With its wealth of updated features, the Les Paul Custom Modern Figured is an excellent choice for players, and it’s ready for every stage. It comes with a premium gig bag for safe storage and transport.
