Nice guitar
"This is a great looking guitar with figured maple top. Plusses are the pickups with rich, warm humbucker tones, slim neck profile which contributes to playability. Also the pick guard was scratched up when I received it but Gibson customer service sent a new one with no hassle. Minuses are the initial set up (action was too high, frets were rough on the bottom of the fretboard, strings on the guitar were poor quality). The guitar does not ship with a gig bag or case (which all makes sense in keeping with an affordable $700 point. ) I found a used hardshell case on Reverb and got the guitar set up at my local shop, with new strings from Stringjoy (right there in Nashville TN) and it's playing nicely now. I've always been a Strat or Tele player but the 335 is a special guitar and gets tones the Fender instruments can't."
