Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager, reporting directly to the Facilities, Security and Safety Director is responsible for all environmental, health, and safety activities for all Gibson properties enterprise wide including: regulatory compliance, program development, implementation management, report generation and submittal, management of air, land, and water emissions, waste reduction and disposal. Provision of on-site expertise for all environmental, health, safety and process safety issues. Prevent and eliminate injury and illness to employees and assist the company to comply with safety laws. Inspect workplaces, and minimize or eliminate hazards from processes, such as incorrect working methods, and materials, such as potentially toxic chemicals. Must have the willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture will be critical. A demonstrated ability to influence people and successful experiences working in a fast-paced, multi-functional, matrixed, and international team are required. This is a hands-on position.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to Day Facilities Operations: 

Responsible for the day to day Environmental Health and Safety at all facilities. Maintain appropriate systems, policies and training documentation to report accurate and timely EH&S items.

Travel
