Check out the Gibson USA online catalog to hear these Gibson guitars wail or sing sweetly. The instrument sounds are digital mp3 files played by esteemed Gibson clinician Chuck Yamek. These are CD-quality, digital sound files. In addition there are four new sound files for Gibson Acoustic guitars and sound files for ten instruments from the Gibson Custom, Art, & Historic division.

    Original Acoustic Instruments

Have you seen the new Original Acoustic Instruments (OAI) site? There are the instruments that are the foundations of Gibson Musical Instruments with modern jewels recreated to embody the qualities of the first instruments Orville Gibson produced in Kalamazoo, MI, and his equally creative successors such as Lloyd Loar pioneered. Mandolins, banjos, and dobros are all pain-stakingly hand-crafted from the finest maple, brass, ivory, and mahogany by contemporary luthiers who embrace Orville's passion for quality and innovation.

    GMICS.org

Gibson Musical Instruments has always been on the cutting edge of instrument technology, from Orville H. Gibson's pioneering designs in the late 1800s to such legendary innovations as the Les Paul and Flying V. Now, Gibson is trailblazing into the 21st century with GMICS, the first digital network for guitars and other instruments. This patent- pending development is becoming regarded as the future of musical instrument connectivity.

    Gibson Custom Direct site

The Gibson Custom Shop has formed the Gibson Custom Direct, an exclusive "club" where members, through their local retailers, will have access to these extremely rare and highly collectible instruments. "This program will essentially give a number of guitar collectors a 'VIP access pass' to our most sought-after limited edition guitars," says Gibson Chairman and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz.
