Rally in the Valley lights up Nashville's Music Makers Row
Hundreds of Nashville revelers gathered on Music Makers Row outside the Valley Arts Guitar store last Friday, Sept. 19, for the first annual Rally in the Valley, which featured free performances by top regional and local bands, plus a drawing for a free Valley Arts guitar.
Featured artists included "The Sinners," "Nick Rather and The Shades," "The DeVilles," "Warner Hodges with the Disciples of Loud," and a special performance by "XLT" marking the first time they were together as a band since the break up of "Little Texas." Beer and food was available with partial proceeds benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) of Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to the musical entertainment, 15 year-old racing sensation Trent Mayo was on hand with his Gibson Custom sponsored Legends car to meet and greet with fans. The specially outfitted Custom Trailer featuring Gibson Guitars along with Valley Arts models, Epiphone and Signature Custom Guitars was in the parking lot for all to visit and play the guitars on hand.
The 1st Annual Rally in the Valley was made possible by the bands who agreed to perform and the production expertise of Hugh Bennett Productions and Nashville Metro Parks.
