Baldwin 'booked' for 25th Playboy Jazz Festival
Jazz icon and venerable Baldwin artist Dave Brubeck headlines the 25th Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, June 13-15, 2003. A Baldwin SD10 Conert Grand will be used throughout the festival by an eclectic roster of artists.
This year's featival will emphasize the spicy latin rhythms of of Brazil's Daniela Mercury, Cuba's Salsa singer Issac Delgado and the Afro-Cuban jazz of conga master Poncho Sanchez. Featured performers also include popular saxman Boney James, the Grammy-nominated Dave Holland Quintet, vocalist Al Jarreau, trail-blazing drummer Roy Haynes and the Brubek Institue Jazz Quintet.
Comedian and jazz aficionado Bill Cosby returns as Master of Ceremonies.
