Gibson Europe introduced at Frankfurt's Musikmesse trade show
Gibson Europe, the new centralized organization for distributing and marketing Gibson products in Europe, officially exhibited at Musikmesse trade show March 5-9 in Frankfurt, Germany for the first time. Headquartered in Vianen, The Netherlands, with a multi-lingual staff, Gibson Europe is establishing joint ventures in various countries to handle sales functions. The first of these ventures, Gibson Med, is based in Milan, Italy, and will handle Gibson sales in the Mediterranean area, including Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta and Turkey.

"With a single, centralized distribution center, we can now bring the entire Gibson family of instruments to all authorized dealers for the first time ever," says Henry Juszkiewicz, chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar Corp. "And through our European sales partners, our connection with the musicians who play our instruments will be stronger than ever.
