Baldwin 'Makes the Band' with P Diddy
A Baldwin M1 Artist Grand is featured in a virtual tour on MTV's hit show "Making the Band 2," hosted by Sean "P Diddy" Combs. The piano sits in the living room of the ultra-luxurious $7 million townhouse located in Manhattan's Upper West Side, where the band hopefuls live together and practice their chops.

The Writer, The Singer & The Song
Actress Sally Kellerman singsGibson and Baldwin were presenting sponsors and Baldwin provided the Baldwin M1 Artist Grand piano for The Writer, The Singer & The Song 2002, an elite singer/songwriter event recognizing some of the most famous writers paired with singers performing their songs. The event took place October 28 at the Director's Guild in Hollywood. Some of the participating award-winning writers and performers included Hal David, Paul Williams, Charlie Fox, Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, David Gates, Albert Hammond and James Ingram. Proceeds went to The Blue Ribbon of the Music Center, which hosts 45,000 5th grade inner-city students each year for an in-theater experience. Proceeds also benefit the charitable activities of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Baldwin does Lake Las Vegas, Boulder, CO
The new Ritz Carlton complex at Lake Las Vegas Resort in Nevada has purchased two Baldwin 5 2" Polished Mahogany grand pianos (Model M1 HPM). These new Baldwin instruments are scheduled to be installed on December 15.
Last year Baldwin installed a new Wurlitzer C153 grand piano with Concertmaster CD player system in the Hyatt Regency Casino at Lake Las Vegas Resort, as well as additional Wurlitzer C153 Grand with Concertmaster in the Lake Las Vegas Clubhouse.
Also, Martha Child Interiors, a division of Sunrise Assisted Living, purchased two new Ellington spinets (Model 300 CHY) to be installed in a brand new Sunrise Assisted Living facility in Boulder, Colorado, later this year. Sunrise Assisted Living is a respected leader in the retirement living industry, with nearly 200 communities located throughout the USA, UK, and Canada.
