Design your own Baldwin Custom Grand Piano online;
Win a Baldwin Piano or a Baldwin-logo shirt

Baldwin Piano has launched an exciting new interactive website that gives consumers the online tools to design the piano of their dreams. And to celebrate, Baldwin is giving away a new Baldwin grand piano and a new vertical piano.

Visitors to the site can log on now at http://www.baldwinpiano.com/what/contestentry.html to fill out and submit a questionnaire that automatically registers them to win the Grand Prize, a Baldwin M1 Artist Grand, or the First Prize, a Baldwin Model 662 vertical piano. A Baldwin-logo shirt or blouse will also be given away each week prior to the grand prize drawing. Entries must be received by Feb. 14, 2003, and there is a limit of one entry per person, per household - duplicate entries are not eligible.

Baldwin's four-tiered Custom Grand Piano Program offers a full range of custom options - from wood accents to new finish colors to "anything goes," to help consumers and dealers find the perfect personalized design.

"We're presenting the traditional grand piano as a starting point for design rather than an end point," says Henry Juszkiewicz, Baldwin Chairman and CEO. "Baldwin's Custom Grand Program gives piano buyers the opportunity, for the first time, to customize instruments to fit individual lifestyles."

The first level, Accents, allows consumers and dealers to add rich accents of Ribbon Mahogany or Royal Cherry to selected elements of an ebony Artist Grand piano. The Colors level offers a choice of five different translucent or solid color finishes over the rich wood grain of a cherry Baldwin Artist Grand. The third level, Exotica, gives consumers a choice of five exotic woods to accent selected piano elements, or an exotic veneer can be added to the entire piano for a dramatic effect. The Anything You Want level offers complete freedom of choice, everything from custom carvings and engravings, painted murals, special materials and unique customized finish colors - even a "Liberace-style" jeweled treatment.
