Two 7-string wonders lead the the rumblin' thunder from the Epiphone Co. for Y2000--the
Les Paul Classic-7 and the
1958 Korina Flying V-7.
The Les Paul 7-string features the same classic lines and appointments as our Les Paul Classic six-strings, but with one more crunching string. The 1958 Korina Flying V-7 is the world's first 7-string with the classic "V" shape. You now have the ability to play with all the low-end sonic expression you can handle.
As they say at Epi, "But wait, that's not all." They are also featuring two new Kats. Joining last year's sensation,
the FlameKat, are two new small semi-hollow bodies-- the WildKat with two Alnico-V P-90s and a chrome Vibrotone, and an AlleyKat with a Tune-o-matic bridge/stopbar tailpiece, a '57 Classic Humbucker in the bridge position, and a "New York" mini humbucker in the neck position. The result is a guitar with great sustain and comfort.
Joining the two 7-strings and the new Kats are three signature classics, an acoustic super jumbo first introduced in 1937 and the second acoustic electric bass in the Epiphone lineup.
John Lee Hooker "1964 Sheraton"

John Lee Hooker "1964 Sheraton II"

Jorma Kaukonen JA Riviera Deluxe
Epiphone is proud to introduce the latest in a series of signature guitars from legendary artists. Built to Jorma's specifications, this Riviera features gold hardware, a gold VibroTone tailpiece, Grover machine heads, two '57 Classic Alnico-V pickups, and dot fret markers.

SJ-15
Since its introduction in 1937, the Gibson original Super Jumbo (SJ) set the acoustic standard for outstanding bass response and sound projection. The SJ shape is larger than an ordinary dreadnought and produces powerful lows and warm high end. It performs briliantly either in solo performances or in an electric band. The new SJ 15 features a spruce top and mahogany body with outstanding projection.
