Gibson Gothic guitars rule Ozzfest

Gibson Gothics are tearing up the joint at this Summer's Ozzfest. Vocalist and guitarist Wayne Static of the Los Angeles-based alternative metal band Static-X is slinging both a Gothic Explorer and Gothic Flying V.

Heavy rock-metal heroes godsmack feature a Gothic Les Paul, and Tommy Lee, former drummer for Motley Crue and now frontman and guitarist for the rap-metal unit Methods of Mayhem, is also playing a bad-in-black Gothic Explorer.

Gibson dares to be different on four new dark and foreboding guitars. Defying convention, these guitars are built for speed in satin black. Black chrome hardware and a mystical moon-and-star inlay at the 12th fret complement the sleek, underground look. Exposed coil humbucking pickups ensure an equally wicked sound. Killer guitars. Chilling good looks.
