The 1959 Les Paul Reissue is completely true to the original, with special attention paid to every detail. The one piece mahogany neck and inlaid rosewood fingerboard joins the body at the 16th fret. Like all Les Paul models, the 1959 Les Paul Reissue features Gibson's fully adjustable truss rod. The height of the stopbar tailpiece is fully adjustable as is the ABR-1 bridge, with its individual fine-tuning adjustments for each string. This combination provides an increase in sustain, tonal quality and precision pitch adjustment.

reissue Finished in the traditional heritage cherry or dark sunburst color scheme, the 1959 Les Paul Reissue is available with a plain maple top, a AAA Flametop, or a AAAAA Killertop, for the ultimate in flamed maple.
