Christian Rock guitarist
Tony Palacios has emerged as one of the genre's true guitar heroes. Still a member of
Guardian,
one of the movement's most influential rock groups, Palacios
this year released an acclaimed instrumental rock album,
Epic Tales of Whoa
(Cadence Communications). The CD was nominated for "Instrumental
Album of the Year" at his year's Dove Awards. Produced by
Palacios and Grover Jackson, the project features drummer Chris
Frazier (Steve Vai Band) and bassist Jimmy Haslip (Yellow
Jackets). And it's
Epiphone
guitars that fuel his sound--
"any Epiphone guitar," Palacios says.
