Tony Iommi signature-fest at West L.A. Music |
|
Tony Iommi recently celebrated his new signature Gibson humbuckers--the first ever Gibson signature pickups --with an appearance at West L.A. Music. Gibson was there with a new lefty SG for Tony, a custom SG for the store, and our camera. To fully document the event, we rounded up all the usual suspects. There's gibson rep Rich Beigel on the left. Tony you get in the middle. Derek Snyder, guitar manager for West L.A. Music is on the right. Okay, look casual. Maybe lean on the pickup cases. That's good, but we can't see the pickups. Why don't you put that counter card in the shot. Everybody look a little happier now. Hey, Tony. Since these are the Tony Iommi Signature humbuckers, how about acting like you're signing one? Hey, Tony, why don't you really sign one?. That would be really cool. Like a signature on a signature, man.
"This is the real thing. The one. That's my signature. Buy it."
Gibson's Mike Replogle had to take all of those shots so he couldn't get in
them. So how 'bout Tony signs the custom lefty SG he just got from
Gibson's Custom*Art*Historic division. (Custom made two for Tony--one red
and one black.) If Rich would be so kind as to take the photo, Mike can get
in this one.
Oops, you forgot to sign the guitar, Tony.
And while you're signing guitars, Tony, how about signing this special SG
that Gibson made up to commemorate West L.A.'s 30th anniversary?
Now let's get some with Rich and Derek in the picture. Anyone seen Tony?
