One of the many non-video programs currently airing on the popular cable station is "It Came From The '80s." In an upcoming show, Chuck D from the rap group Public Enemy discusses how he used an Oberheim DX to create the beats that fueled P.E.'s emotionally-charged, politically-aware music.

MTV called GMI, hoping to snag a pic of one. Luckily, a Gibson employee happens to own the discontinued unit, and the folks at Gibson.Net got the privilege to take a couple snapshots for use in the MTV broadcast.
