The Opryland Music Group in Nashville is giving its songwriters all the
tools they need to write hits, stocking the writers' rooms with Epiphone
guitars.
Among the tools of the trade are an Epiphone Texan, Excellente, Frontier,
EJ-200 (the Elvis J-200) and, of course, a Songwriter model.
The Epis are also "on call" for any impromptu pitch sessions of new and
un-demoed songs.
Opryland Music is not a publishing company aimed at supplying
musical productions for the recently defunct Opryland theme park. It
is one of Nashville's major music publishers, with a catalog that
includes all the classics in the old Acuff-Rose catalog.
Among Opryland's current this are "The Rest
Of Mine" by Trace Adkins, written by Adkins and Kenny Beard; "Something
That We Do" by Clint Black, written by Black and Skip Ewing; and "I Wanna
Fall In Love" by Lila McCann, written by Mark Spiro and Buddy Brock.
